Automatic gates use loop detectors buried in the driveway, keypads, or remote fobs to trigger the operator without anyone leaving their vehicle. The trigger method, closing delay, and UL 325-compliant safety hardware are configured to match your daily traffic pattern.
Bi-Folding Gates
A bi-folding gate splits at a central hinge and folds back against the post, cutting the swing arc roughly in half. Setback clearance and hinge load are assessed before the fold direction, panel width, and operator type are specified for your entrance.
Commercial Security Gates
Commercial security gates are specified for vehicle weight ratings, forced-entry resistance, and high-cycle operators rather than residential-grade hardware. Smart access control connects your gate operator to a smartphone app so you can grant entry, check gate status, and review open/close history from anywhere. MyQ or compatible platforms are integrated with your existing operator, and user permissions are configured for residents, staff, and visitors.
Solar Powered Gates
Solar gate systems pair a roof- or post-mounted panel with a sealed battery that stores enough charge to run the operator through several cloudy days or a grid outage. Panel wattage and battery capacity are sized to your daily cycle count and Boulder’s sun exposure.
Vertical Lift Gates
When a driveway is too short for a swing arc or too narrow for a slide track, a vertical lift gate rises straight up and clears the opening without consuming lateral space. The lift mechanism and counterweight are sized to your exact opening width and load.
